Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting. It is a meeting of the parish electors and must be held  between 1 March and 1 June.  This year the meeting will take place on May 20th at 7.00pm at the Seeds of Hope, Overgreen Drive.  Please let the Clerk know if you wish to attend.

Electors can contribute to the agenda and in practice the meetings are used to celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community for decision making.

The Chairman of the council, any two councillors or any six electors can call the Annual Parish Meeting.

The Chairman, if present, will chair the meeting.

It is usual to hold the Annual General Meeting and the Annual Parish Council meeting at different times, to avoid confusion.
